Gained critical insights into the operations of one of Nanaimo's oldest athletic clubs and discussed ways in which we can work with them to address the following key items:
- Improve accessibility to all Nanaimo youth regardless of their financial situation.
- Add lighting to Beban Field
- Increase parking and add an exit to the parking lot at Merle Logan Turf Field
- Making lights available to public until 10pm to improve safety and encourage community pick up games when fields are not in use at Merle Logan Turf Fields.

Missed out on this due to scheduling conflicts with NUFC AGM. I will be providing them with a breakdown of my climate change initiative priorities which play a major role in my platform. These include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development of a light rail transit system that runs on green energy.
- Building community vehicle charging stations that allow homeowners to install solar at reduced rates to tie into a centralized power storage and charging system. This will reduce the cost of installing solar and increase our supply of clean energy.
- Develop a complete network of bike and walking paths that tie all communities together without the need for bike lanes. This will seperate bikes from vehicles, thereby improving safety and making the ride more enjoyable.
- Looking into ways to make hill side communities more bike friendly by way of chair lifts or in ground systems like those currently used in Europe.
